Main Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Analyst will be responsible for ensuring an optimal flow of information in the Production Processes. The role entails collecting, analyzing, and evaluating Production records, trends, and performance, and interpreting results in order to make recommendations to increase productivity.

 

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering and processing Production Data from Production Interfaces and ERP Systems
  • Reconciliation of information between systems within deadlines to ensure data integrity
  • Maintain and update dashboards for production analysis
  • Analyze data, issue reports, and make data-based recommendations for improvements
  • Ensure deployment of corrective measures and follow up of implementation with the team on the shopfloor
  • Promote and participate in ‘Improvement Teams’

 

Profile

  • Degree in Maths, Statistics, Data Analytics or any other equivalent qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years post-graduation experience in a data analysis post. Candidates with lesser work experience can be considered for a starting position
  • Experience in a Manufacturing or Supply Chain environment is an advantage
  • Knowledge in managing large databases is desirable
  • A High level of proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools, and knowledge of Power BI or other analytics tools is a must
  • Excellent Analytical and Time Management skills
  • Well organised, disciplined, and detail conscious
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and a team player coupled with a ‘Can Do’ attitude
  • Assist the Production Manager in the Production Planning exercise
